January 9, 20192018 Stern Show guests Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin suffer a serious setback on Season5 of “Grace and Frankie,” hitting Netflix later this month.
The new trailer (above) begins with late-in-life bestfriends Grace (Fonda) and Frankie (Tomlin) learning their respective childrenhave conspired to sell their beloved beach house behind their backs. Frankie, anunrepentant hippie, breaks the bad news to Grace by referencing a moviestarring Wednesday’s Stern Show guest Lindsay Lohan.
“We’ve been parent trapped,” she tells her more level-headed friend.

“Who the fuck are you?”Frankie fires back.
It’s not the trailer’s only awkward moment, either. There’s also Robert (Martin Sheen) and Sol (Sam Waterston)’s childrenwalking in on them with a naked young man, a heatedexchange with a traffic cop, a weed-gummy induced giggle fit, andplenty more f-bombs from Fonda and Tomlin.
