Saw this installed in one casino already
A few youtube videos of it. Seems to be about one month old
Unique to say the least although i dont think it will be too successful
Here is one video of someone not winning
https://youtu.be/1Wmi9qgKz74
And one who hit really good
https://youtu.be/F53a13TQ6gc
Basically there are NO spinning reels. Just a static screen with mulitple credit amounts
Pushing the play button makes a 'voltage meter' rise. If the voltage fizzles you lost. If it rises all the way to the top lightning strikes hit the awarded credit amounts
Usually more than one although they may still not add up to more than the cost of the spin
Since the voltage meter fizzles quickly it can appear almost like nothing happened
Apparently the jackpot is zapping all the posted credit amounts which is possible evidenced by the 2nd video
This is the entire game. There are no bonus rounds or free spins or additional animations
There was a multiplier awarded randomly where all credit amounts doubled. About the only extra thing I observed

I've seen it as well. It is pure insanity how fast this machine plays. Everi (the manufacturer) suggests the properties that place it set it to a high payback percentage due to the 'spins' per minute this machine can do. However, my gut tells me that is not the case at most casinos. On a good multiplier day where I had limited time to earn the points is about the only time I would consider playing this game. BTW, the casino I saw it at had it in multi-denomination at 1c, 2c, 5c and 10c with a 200 credit max bet.

Lightning Zap Slot Machine Online

I voted for 'Would try it out.' The premise seems interesting. :)
In both The Hunger Games and in gambling, may the odds be ever in your favor. :D 'Man Babes' #AxelFabulous 'Olive oil is processed but it only has one ingredient, olive oil.'-Even Bob, March 27/28th. :D The 2 year war is over! watched some people play this at the cosmo a couple weeks back.
subconciously, it makes me think of a 'black mirror' kind of scenario where all the ploppies of the future are earning reward credits by jacking off their robotic overlords in a slot parlor. here, stroke this tower until the lightning shoots out the top all over your credit awards, honey.
...would be fun to see the PAR sheet, though.

Did somebody tried it? I am curious to take my chance on it.

I will keep an eye out for it. If I can play at a small bet, I'll record some results. I highly suspect it is set to a similar return as the rest of the slots in any given casino.Lightning zap slot machine
It's not whether you win or lose; it's whether or not you had a good bet.

Can you imagine how hard people are going to hit that button in order to 'raise' the lightening like the hammer/weight game at a fair?
p.s. guy goes through the help screens, ~5 min, and plays for a while in this video (not sure if it's helpful Wiz).

~14-15 min, apparently if you push the button numerous times it gives the appearance of the lightening 'building' towards a guaranteed win (which of course it's not, it's just building slowly until it randomly hits). I don't like that though just because it's misleading and will result in tons of players smashing the button really fast not realizing how much money they're betting/losings... which then you see shortly after ~15:45.

Thanks for this post from:
I would lay good odds the odds are the same every bet and the lightning is just for show. The game probably picks a random number from some range, maps it to a win stored in an array, and displays the win to the player.

That's one thing casinos/someone might like a lot more about this game though... It's programming is SUPER SIMPLISTIC. I could program that slot machine in 20 minutes, without the cool graphics =P.
Playing it correctly means you've already won.

Prince Of Lightning Slot Machine

Speaking of unusual slots, has anyone here played 'Dream Pool'? It was released around the same time as 'Lightning Zap'.

P.S. Is it threadjacking if I add this a year later?
